My story
Growing up in the Scandinavian countryside surrounded by deep forests, big lakes and animals, nature was always part of who I was and who I automatically turned to for all things. In my early adulthood, however, this belonging to nature within me got lost. I felt an urge to explore the world, or myself rather, and went travelling in parts of Asia, Australia and Africa to end up in the UK for many years. Through my travels I discovered yoga. Through yoga I discovered my own need for healing. And through my healing in yoga I discovered herbal medicine which led me to rediscover my peace and home in nature. In 2020 I gained my first diploma in western herbalism and have since studied phytotherapy, holistic stress management, holistic skincare, an introductory course in Ayurveda (ancient indian medicine) as well as many workshops and continuous self studying.
My approach
A life in nature and the regular use of plants help me better understand, appreciate and connect with my being, the life around me, and the mystical magic of the universe. My passion lies in encouraging a practice of herbalism and spending time in nature to allow you to find your own journey in self-exploration and transformation, in connection and guidance by its wisdom and rhythms. My herbalism practice is rooted in the ancient wisdom of plants and their healing properties. I believe that nature provides us with everything we need to nurture, heal, and thrive. Through the careful selection of plants that live and thrive around us, I aim to encourage you to create remedies and rituals that support physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.
